SCCALE will be presented at a European Sustainable Energy Week during a session about Repowering Europe by mobilising investment and citizen engagement.
Energy efficiency and clean energy solutions play an important role for the resilience of a community at all levels and the EU as a whole. Energy efficiency measures are the cheapest, safest and cleanest way to advance the REPowerEU Plan to phase-out dependence on fossil fuels imports from Russia and achieve the EU Climate and energy goals. This requires concrete actions to change behaviour, mobilise investments and empower consumers and citizens.
The Life Clean Energy Transition sub-programme (LIFE-CET) has opened a new chapter of market uptake and policy implementation action towards an energy-efficient, renewable energy based economy.
This session will feature EU-funded project results notably on:
• Supporting citizens and energy communities to take an active role in the clean energy transition
• Support to finance and implement energy efficiency and sustainable energy projects, notably in cities
• Make energy efficiency, sustainable energy and home renovation projects more attractive to private investors
